“Saw a lady online talking about how many times she’s been “scammed” and “swindled” by business opportunities over the years. And that “honest marketers are rare”.
Do you know how many times I’ve been scammed?
None. Zero. Zilch. Nada.
I must be the luckiest guy in the world, huh?
There’s all these people talking about how dishonest marketers are and how they’re all scammers…
…and yet I’ve been in some form of business since 1992 and I’ve never gotten scammed at all.
Am I just lucky?
….what if the difference is that I can see a big difference between “me getting scammed”…..
…and “me not doing the work”?
Or “me not following directions”?
Or “me getting in my own way”?
Or “me not being consistent”?
Or “me not being persistent”?
There are scammers out there, sure.
But, relatively speaking, they’re a smaller group than you think.
Most of the people hollering “scam!” are just people who are unwilling to confront their own lack of personal responsibility.
Sorry. Rant mode over. I just don’t know what to say when I see someone complaining that they spend ONE DOLLAR on a product TRIAL and then — when it came time to buy the product — she couldn’t afford it….
….and that somehow makes the company the “scammers”.
People are weird”
